Building AI that works for everyone
Destined AI was born from outrage. After seeing AI systems label Black people as ugly, gorilla, and other derogatory terms, I wanted to know why. After doing the research, it came down to two things: the data and the builders. The training data was biased, and the teams building these systems lacked the diversity to catch — or care about — the harm. Destined AI was founded so that people can build AI better, more responsibly, and in ways that work for everyone. It's a platform for responsible AI development that puts equity at the center of the process, not as an afterthought.
The Problem
AI systems have labeled Black people with derogatory terms because of biased training data and homogeneous builder teams. The industry needs tools and frameworks to build AI responsibly.
The Approach
Founded a platform so people can build AI better — responsibly and in ways that work for everyone — by addressing both the data problem and the builder problem at their roots.
